Q&A Session and Application Introductions for Electrospinning
At the beginning of the session, we held individual consultations and Q&A discussions related to electrospinning. Participants had the opportunity to discuss challenges in their daily research and development activities directly with our staff in a practical and detailed manner.
We also introduced various nanofiber application examples, sharing insights into a wide range of fields including medical materials, filtration, and battery applications.
Alignment Nanofiber Membrane Demonstration Using the NF-500
During this session, we conducted a live demonstration of aligned nanofiber membrane fabrication using our electrospinning system, the “NF-500.”
The participants were able to observe how nanofibers become aligned in real time and how processing conditions affect fiber orientation.
In addition, we demonstrated electrospinning using a core-shell spinneret. Core-shell structures, which allow different materials to be spun separately as inner and outer layers, are attracting attention for applications such as functional materials, DDS (Drug Delivery Systems), and advanced filtration technologies.
We also introduced the actual system configuration, flow rate settings, and solution conditions, allowing participants to experience the differences compared with conventional electrospinning methods.
We welcome visitors and electrospinning demonstrations from overseas as well.
