We Participated in the 10th National Electrospinning Technology and Nanofiber Academic Conference in 2025!

We exhibited at the 10th National Conference on Electrospinning Technology and Nanofibers held in Nanjing, China on August 23 and 24, 2025. Over the two-day period, we had the opportunity to speak directly with many professors and students, making it a very rewarding experience. On the first day, the venue was buzzing with energy from the very morning, and visitors kept coming to our booth—mostly university faculty and students who are deeply engaged in their research. Nearly 100 people stopped by our booth. The original notebooks and bags we handed out were very popular—many people said, “So cute!” or “I’ll use it as my research notebook,” which made us feel glad that we prepared them. On the second day, professors who had just finished their conference presentations came by our booth one after another. Some exclaimed, “This equipment is new to me!” We felt that these encounters helped introduce our equipment to new people. About 50 people visited that day, and many passionately shared their research ideas and concerns, giving us valuable real-world insights from the research field. This exhibition was a great gain, as we were able to directly meet renowned professors and students researching electrospinning and nanofiber materials and convey the appeal of our equipment. We will continue our efforts through future exhibitions to introduce our technology to even more people. ✈️ These two days, inspired by the passion of researchers from China, were deeply stimulating!

Creating Tubular Nanofibers with NANON

Nanofiber technology holds great promise for a wide range of applications. In this post, we introduce tubular nanofibers—a unique structure that can be created using our electrospinning device, NANON. What Are Tubular Nanofibers? At our company, we produce straw-like tubular nanofibers by rotating mandrel rods with diameters ranging from 2 mm to 10 mm while spraying a solution jet onto them. These fibers are expected to be applied in a variety of fields, such as medical uses like artificial blood vessels and energy devices. In particular, when using biocompatible polymers, applications in cutting-edge medical fields—such as tissue engineering and drug delivery systems—are expanding. Fabrication of Tubular Nanofibers Using NANON In this demonstration, we created tubular nanofibers using the following setup: Features of Our Tubular Nanofibers ・Uniform Structure The high-speed rotating mandrel collector enables the formation of smooth and consistent nanofibers. ・High Versatility Applicable to a wide range of uses, including filters, biomedical applications, and energy devices. ・Flexible Design The diameter and thickness of the fibers can be controlled by adjusting the size and rotation speed of the collector. Future Outlook As we further advance our tubular nanofiber fabrication technology, we aim to develop materials with even more sophisticated functions. In particular, we anticipate expanded use in the medical field, such as artificial blood vessels and drug delivery systems.
