{"id":15459,"date":"2025-03-21T13:35:04","date_gmt":"2025-03-21T04:35:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mecc-nano.com\/?p=15459"},"modified":"2025-03-21T13:38:22","modified_gmt":"2025-03-21T04:38:22","slug":"creating-tubular-nanofibers-with-nanon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mecc-jp.com\/nano\/technology\/15459\/","title":{"rendered":"Creating Tubular Nanofibers with NANON"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nanofiber technology holds great promise for a wide range of applications.<br>In this post, we introduce <em>tubular nanofibers<\/em>\u2014a unique structure that can be created using our electrospinning device, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mecc-jp.com\/nano\/equipment11\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NANON<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Are Tubular Nanofibers?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At our company, we produce straw-like tubular nanofibers by rotating mandrel rods with diameters ranging from 2 mm to 10 mm while spraying a solution jet onto them. These fibers are expected to be applied in a variety of fields, such as <strong>medical uses like artificial blood vessels<\/strong> and <strong>energy devices<\/strong>. In particular, when using biocompatible polymers, applications in cutting-edge medical fields\u2014such as <strong>tissue engineering<\/strong> and <strong>drug delivery systems<\/strong>\u2014are expanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fabrication of Tubular Nanofibers Using NANON<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this demonstration, we created tubular nanofibers using the following setup:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Device:<\/strong> NANON (Electrospinning device)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Collector:<\/strong> Mandrel collector (rotating cylindrical collector)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Material:<\/strong> Polyurethane (PU) solution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:55px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" enables the formation of smooth and consistent nanofibers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u30fb<strong>High Versatility<\/strong><br>\u3000Applicable to a wide range of uses, including filters, biomedical applications, and energy devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u30fb<strong>Flexible Design<\/strong><br>\u3000The diameter and thickness of the fibers can be controlled by adjusting the size and rotation speed of the collector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Future Outlook<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we further advance our tubular nanofiber fabrication technology, we aim to develop materials with even more sophisticated functions. In particular, we anticipate expanded use in the <strong>medical field<\/strong>, such as <strong>artificial blood vessels<\/strong> and <strong>drug delivery systems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our company continues to enhance our electrospinning technology, striving to provide equipment capable of producing various types of nanofibers.
